THE CALL BEGINS

In the Cave of Hira, Jibril brought the first words of revelation, and Muhammad ﷺ returned home shaken by the weight of what had begun. Khadijah reassured him, while Waraqah ibn Nawfal recognised the signs of prophethood and warned that opposition would come. Revelation then called him to rise, warn and begin carrying Allah’s message to those closest to him.

THE CALL BREAKS THE SILENCE

The message first moved quietly through trusted homes as Khadijah, Ali, Zayd, Abu Bakr and others accepted Islam. Young believers, enslaved people and families such as Yasir’s endured threats, torture and social pressure without abandoning their faith. The call then emerged publicly at Mount Safa, where rejection could no longer return it to silence.
