The Early Years
Arabia before the Prophet’s ﷺ birth was marked by idol worship, tribal rivalry, superstition and injustice, yet its people also possessed courage, eloquence and hospitality. Allah protected the Ka‘bah when Abraha’s army advanced during the Year of the Elephant. In that same year, Muhammad ﷺ was born into the family of Abdul Muttalib, bringing the first light of a new era.
